My name is Ms. Em and I love teaching art!
Originally from New York, I moved to Boston to study painting and art education at Boston University. After student teaching in Chelsea and Revere, I started teaching visual art in Brookline. This is my tenth year teaching in Brookline and my sixth year teaching at CCS!
In my free time, I like to cook, paint and make collages. The biggest painting I have ever made is 5 feet x 8 feet! I like to experiment with new techniques (like embroidery) and show my art in galleries a few times each year. When I’m not making art, I like to cook, travel, read, play basketball, and ride my bike. My favorite ice cream flavor is Coffee Oreo from J.P. Licks. 🙂
